2 Day Beginners Copperfoil Workshops

Cost: $440 for the full weekend workshop.

Our 2 Day Beginners Copperfoil Workshop is a step-by-step introduction to the beautiful world of stained glass. The weekend is designed specifically for curious beginners - so if you’ve never picked up a glass cutter before, you’re exactly who I’m looking for! I keep class sizes small, maiximum 3 students, so we can focus on building your confidence as you learn to score, foil, and solder in a cozy, creative space.

By Sunday afternoon, you’ll surprise yourself with the skills you’ve gained and walk away with a custom-made suncatcher, ready to hang. It’s more than just a class; it’s a mindful retreat where you can slow down and create something lasting with your own hands.

Ready to choose your weekend? Head to the workshop bookings page to see available dates.

The Copperfoil
Weekend Retreat

Embrace the fun of making glass art in an inviting, fun and creative atmosphere during the two-day course.

You will be provided with an individual tool box & workbench, a private grinder, and full safety gear alongside expert instruction.

Throughout this weekend, you will explore every phase of the copperfoil technique - learning to score, break and grind, foil, and solder, so you can return home with a unique suncatcher and the confidence to begin your own glass art project.

two days:

  • Choosing your pattern

  • Selecting your glass from a wide range of colours and textures

  • One-on-one guidance through your first cuts

  • Practising precision scoring

  • Assembling your pieces

  • Refining edges with a speed grinder

  • Applying copper foil tape
